I have a female and a male bearded dragon caged together and this past Saturday (May 14th) she laid eggs. I am pretty sure that they are furtile eggs, but that is not my problem. My female has not started to eat again after laying the eggs.

They were not eating his food, just drinking from his water but within a couple days they were every where in his cage. so i cleaned it up and moved it to the other side of the room. but the only place i could put his cage was on the floor. he's running back and forth like crazy, stoping to bob his head which iv never seen him do till now.

But I was using a plastic bin and a under water heater. and in here in Arizona its getting real hot. so anyways i keep the incubator in my closet and i haven't gone in there for a while, and when i looked all the water was gone so i put about 8 gallons of water back in and i notice the heater melted a big whole in the plastic and the water was all over my carpet.

I went with the home made incubator, and i did really well with it too 14 out of 16 hatched of the first clutch. would of been 15 but one baby drowned in his egg. he cut the slit in the egg then turns from the hole and drowned in his liquid.

And when i looked at the eggs they were all dented and half deflated. so i put them in a glass tank and up the humidity to where it almost makes a rain cloud and some of them got plump again.

She has been eating like a horse and continues to do so. Veggies are almost always fresh but are occasionally frozen. Her crickets are always gutloaded at home by me and are fed a diet of fresh veggies and flukers cricket feed.

For supplements she gets straight calcium carbonate 1-2x weekly and a multivitimin once every week to two weeks.

She will drink standing water and i usually keep a small water dish in with her to keep the humidity around 30%. I only take the water dish out when there are crickets in her cage as they jump in and die if there is a water dish.

If anyone has any other questions about her set up feel free to ask...I think i have included everything.

Rebel, kind of has a boring cage setup.... I am short on money so I need ways of MAKING my own cage furniture and stuff. It's important to me that he is happy. I need things that are kinda easy, since I am not a great sculptor.... Any ideas? All is greatly appriciated! Thanks in advance! It has almost been a week. My boyfriend seems to think that our male is being to dominate over the food that we put in the cage. We have tried to separate them and she just doesn't seem to be interested in any of the food, this concerns me because she was a pig before she laid the eggs even before we had the male. What should I do, please help I will try anything.
