-- Chinese calligraphy lessons for beginners. Free! Over the past week, my female dragon has been acting a little sluggish. She was in brumation for awhile, but that ended about a month ago. I took her out today and gave her a bath. I noticed that she had a build up of what looked like a mix of urate and sand around her anal pore. About two weeks ago i decided it was time for another routine fecal exam for my bearded dragon. I decided the next time i saw a fecal in her cage that i was going to scoop it and take it to work to run and check for parasites as a preventative measure. Well the problem is, since then i have not seen a fecal. At first i wasn't worried but now im starting to feel kinda nervous about it, i mean its been almost two weeks since her last fecal. Does this sound to long to any one? I went with the home made incubator, and i did really well with it too 14 out of 16 hatched of the first clutch. would of been 15 but one baby drowned in his egg. he cut the slit in the egg then turns from the hole and drowned in his liquid. But I was using a plastic bin and a under water heater. and in here in Arizona its getting real hot. so anyways i keep the incubator in my closet and i haven't gone in there for a while, and when i looked all the water was gone so i put about 8 gallons of water back in and i notice the heater melted a big whole in the plastic and the water was all over my carpet. And when i looked at the eggs they were all dented and half deflated. so i put them in a glass tank and up the humidity to where it almost makes a rain cloud and some of them got plump again. I have been having a problem with ants in my house and for some reason only half of my basement has ant trails. so i can safely keep all my animals down here but only on one side. i got a bearded dragon and put him up off the ground on some shelves hoping ants wouldn't get up there but they did. I have a female and a male bearded dragon caged together and this past Saturday (May 14th) she laid eggs. I am pretty sure that they are furtile eggs, but that is not my problem. My female has not started to eat again after laying the eggs. Rebel, kind of has a boring cage setup.... I am short on money so I need ways of MAKING my own cage furniture and stuff. It's important to me that he is happy. I need things that are kinda easy, since I am not a great sculptor.... Any ideas? All is greatly appriciated! Thanks in advance! My boyfriend seems to think that our male is being to dominate over the food that we put in the cage. We have tried to separate them and she just doesn't seem to be interested in any of the food, this concerns me because she was a pig before she laid the eggs even before we had the male. What should I do, please help I will try anything. There is a cut on the sole of this foot which I have been cleaning every day with medical disinfectant swabs that the vet prescribed for reptile usage. I have had him at the vets for x-rays, and all his bones appear to be strong, no breakage anywhere. He had a bout of coccidia and pinworms last year that the vet prescribed Albon and Panacur, which was followed up with Acidophiliz to get his gut-flora rebalanced. |
